According to the EEOC website, "Prevention is the best tool to eliminate sexual harassment in the workplace. Employers are encouraged to take steps necessary to prevent sexual harassment from occurring. They should clearly communicate to employees that sexual harassment will not be tolerated. They can do so by providing sexual harassment training to their employees and by establishing an effective complaint or grievance process and taking immediate and appropriate action when an employee complains."

It’s important to build a strong HR Compliance Program for your business so it can be protected from expensive HR issues, and employees can feel safe in a workplace that prioritizes inclusion and compliance.

A lack of HR Compliance means employees can easily be targeted and vulnerable to  sexual harassment, and other illegal practices, with little or no protection. The absence of a compliance program can lead to costly lawsuits, fines, and negative publicity from being sued.

It’s vital for every business to build a culture of compliance within their organization.
